Orders, Payment, & Shipping

How to Place an Order

Email:  You may place an order by email to rick@urbanwoodworks.com.  Indicate the item you want along with your name, shipping address, daytime phone number, email  address (for use with Pay Pal if applicable), and desired method of payment.  I will reply with confirmation of availability and total cost including postage and insurance.  This will reserve your selection for up to 4 business days while awaiting receipt of your payment.

Phone:  If you have a question or would prefer to order via phone you may call me at 706-537-1736.  My administrative staff consists of four bassets, two rag doll cats and one siamese, so you may need to leave your number and message, and I will return your call as promptly as possible.

Snail Mail:  Same as email but slower.

Online Shopping Cart:  If a shopping cart icon is available for the particular item you want, just click on the “add to cart” button.  When you are finished, click the “checkout” button to use to Pay Pal’s secure checkout.  I generally do not use this method for one-of-a-kind items.  Please contact me first to confirm availability and total cost.  I will then “request money” through Pay Pal or  make other arrangements with you.

Payment Options

Major Credit Cards Accepted

Credit and Debit Cards

I accept major credit cards via the  Pay Pal secure site.  Using this method is easy.  Let me send you a request for money through Pay Pal using your email address.  That way you will know you are paying the right person.  Then you can follow the instructions you receive from Pay Pal to complete the transaction securely at https://www.paypal.com/.  You do not need to establish a Pay Pal account to use the service and there is no charge to you.

Shipping

Orders are normally shipped within 2 business days of receipt of payment for money orders and credit cards and within 5-10 business days for personal checks.  I use US Postal Service insurred priority mail unless you specify something else.  Please let me know if you do not want insurance or if you prefer another shipping method.  If you choose not to insure the shipment please remember you accept full responsibility for damage or loss.
